An official car of Gujarat BJP was caught by Gujarat Police while it was being used to illegally transport cow meat. According to sources, certain leaders of Gujarat BJP have been indulging in an illegal business of cow meat, since Gujarat Police is usually hesitant to check cars labelled with the Gujarat BJP symbol.
This is the same state whose Chief Minister Narendra Modi uses cow slaughter as a propaganda against the ruling government in his rallies. At an election rally in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, Modi had said:
Lal Bahadur Shastri used to talk of ‘green revolution’ but they are encouraging ‘pink revolution’ by promoting meat exports. They are giving subsidy to set up slaughterhouses… cows and other animals are getting slaughtered.
Ironically, just a few days after Modi’s Madhya Pradesh rally, Vipin Bilauha, former district convener of BJP’s cow cell in Madhya Pradesh was charged by Police under Sections 4, 6, and 9 of the MP Prohibition of Slaughter of Cow-progeny Act for transporting over 150 cows and calves for slaughter from Badagaon to Ganiyari when they were stopped about 35 km from Katni in Madhya Pradesh.
Such is Narendra Modi’s ‘strong administration’ that members of Gujarat BJP do illegal trading in cow meat right under his watch. We also wonder as to on what basis will RSS continue endorsing Narendra Modi as the Prime Ministerial candidate since Modi has failed to keep up with RSS’s demand of cow protection.
